A fast track to level 3 for experienced groomers

The Fast track level 3 in Dog grooming qualification is for experienced groomers with over 1 years full time experience In the industry. 

We know many experienced groomers would like to be able to say they are also qualified and have had their skill validated. However, exams can be daunting and the cost can escalate if you need practice to prepare for them. That is why we have made our qualification assessed through coursework and means you can complete a portfolio at your own pace, in your own time whilst ensuring you have the skills needed to achieve your goal.

We pride ourselves on providing a great opportunity for experienced groomers to achieve Level 3 qualification status without the need for first completing a Level 2 qualification. This route is also ideal for students who hold the City and Guilds Introduction Certificate but who have not yet reached the City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming. Both diplomas are the same value on the national framework but simply awarded by different awarding organisations.

The theory work is completed at home and In your spare time around work, you will need to take pictures and produce a write up 20 different dog and then complete 6 assignments, we then either come to you or you can come to us for 3 assessments. The assessments are pet grooms rather than show standard and can included dogs such as cockerpoos, and cross breeds. 

If you come to us with your own dogs for the final assessments , the cost of this will be £1,250 if you bring the dogs to us at our pet grooming school in Faversham Kent, and we supply the assessments dogs at our salon then the cost will be £1,850.
